Our client ‘Engage With Age’ are a charity dealing with issues that are of concern to older people. A common concern but a vital service to older people is public transport and in Belfast particularly the use of buses. They had a range of concerns including frequency of service, operation of disability ramps and their interaction with bus drivers. We interviewed some regular bus users and they highlighted their concerns with suggestions to Translink on how to make the service better. Translink CEO also appeared in the film to answer some of these concerns. More importantly, Translink used the film as part of future driver training.
